Easter: Sacrifice for Nationhood is Necessary – Adeyemi advises Christians

The ENACT Principal, Engr Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has advised Christian Brethren in Kwara State, on the need to cherish nation building above sentiment of identity in the spirit of peace, unity and progress. This was contained in this year Easter Message released at the early hours of Friday.

We congratulate our Christian brothers and sisters on the successful completion of this year lent period. Glory be to God.

As the entire period was marked with several trials and test of faith, Jesus Christ was able to overcome them without plucking the chord of violence. So is why the christian community need to emulate the peaceful lesson of the Christ in order to promote unity, peaceful co-existence and progress of our dear State at all times.

Please, let us use the easter period to reiterate prayers for progress of the state. It is our prayers that, we all witness more of the period on earth in service to God and humanity.
