As tributes pour in to mark the 95th birthday of the iconic matriarch, Alhaja Raliat AbdulRazaq, one of the most heartfelt, has come from Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), representing the North Central zone.
In a statement released through his media office, Engr. Adeyemi described Alhaja Raliat as “a towering symbol of grace, resilience, and generational impact whose life journey continues to inspire millions across Kwara and beyond.”
He noted that the nonagenarian’s influence transcends her immediate family, pointing out her critical role in shaping the values of integrity, service, and leadership found in her children—particularly Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
“Alhaja Raliat AbdulRazaq embodies the very essence of virtue and motherhood. Her life is a blueprint for nurturing strength, discipline, and compassion. As the mother of a governor who is redefining governance in Kwara State, her legacy lives on—not just through her children, but through the countless lives she has inspired,” the statement read.
Engr. Adeyemi extended warm felicitations to the AbdulRazaq family on this milestone, emphasizing that Alhaja Raliat’s journey is not only a celebration of longevity but of relevance and impact.
“She is not just a mother to her biological children, but a matriarch to all of us who admire her story and the values she has stood for across generations. May Almighty Allah continue to preserve her in good health, peace, and happiness,” he added.
