Member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) representing North Central Nigeria, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has extended his warm congratulations to the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Saliu Yakubu Danladi, on the occasion of his 40th birthday.
In a statement issued in Ilorin today, Engr. Adeyemi described the milestone as a significant moment not only in the Speaker’s personal journey but also in the larger context of youth participation in governance and public service in Nigeria.
“I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker on this important milestone. Turning 40 while holding such a critical office in the governance structure of Kwara State is a testament to the growing visibility and impact of young people in Nigeria’s democratic institutions,” the statement read.
Engr. Adeyemi commended Speaker Danladi for maintaining legislative stability and supporting executive-legislative collaboration in the interest of the state. He noted that the 9th and 10th Assemblies under his leadership have demonstrated commendable focus on legislative reforms and public-interest legislation.
“As a stakeholder in national development, I appreciate the Speaker’s efforts in ensuring that the legislative arm in Kwara continues to function with maturity, independence, and a sense of responsibility to the people.”
He urged the Speaker to continue to embrace inclusive leadership and uphold the values of accountability, equity, and service to the people of Kwara State.
“At 40, there is still much to contribute. I wish him continued wisdom, strength, and clarity of purpose in the service of our state and nation.”
