The Kwara South ENACT Principal, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has described the concluded lent period of the Christians as the moment of perseverance in the bid to achieving spiritual upliftment above some worldly distractions. Adeyemi made this known in this year’s Happy Easter Message released today. According to him, *Fasting for 40 days and nights is a spiritual legacy that from Jesus Christ that we should all imbibe. Faithful christians emulating the legacy must equally know that as Jesus Christ escaped the temptations that followed the lent period, it is important that we uphold our faith to resist any coming temptations that may obstruct our spiritual exercise. Hence, perseverance becomes the key to achieving spiritual upliftment as seen in the life of Jesus Christ.
Fasting has come and gone. Let’s keep assisting our dear Nation in prayers. Let us not join the pessimistic trains of people so as to avoid untold consequences. Our future is bright, our oneness is better, Nigeria will be great and greater with our collective contributions.
On behalf of the ENACT family at home and in diaspora, I wish to congratulate us for the successful completion of this year’s lent. With joyous heart, we say Happy Easter celebration, may we witness many more of it in good faith, good health and wealth.
