TETFund Board Member, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Hails Prince Fagbemi’s Appointment as NCRI Board Chairman

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) representing the North Central, has extended warm congratulations to the Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Cereals Research Institute (NCRI), Badeggi, Niger State.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Engr. Adeyemi described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Prince Fagbemi’s enduring commitment to public service, grassroots leadership, and the development of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State and beyond.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the strategic appointment, noting that placing tested party leaders like Prince Fagbemi in key national institutions aligns perfectly with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s vision for institutional growth and inclusive governance.

Engr. Adeyemi also acknowledged the steady hand of leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in positioning Kwara for greater relevance on the national stage. “This appointment is yet another indicator that Kwara is being recognized for its pool of competent and loyal party leaders,” he said.

He expressed confidence that Prince Fagbemi will bring his wealth of experience, deep sense of duty, and result-driven mindset to bear in the new role, further strengthening the capacity and performance of the National Cereals Research Institute.

“The choice of Prince Fagbemi reflects both trust and expectation. I am confident he will deliver excellently,” Adeyemi added.
