We Appreciate the Promotion of Cultural Education in Igbomina Kingdom – ENACT to Olupo and Elesie

The Akínkanjú Ọmọ of Esie Kingdom, Chief Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has extended warm appreciations to the revered Monarchs in Igbomina Kingdom, the Olupo of Ajase Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu and Elesie of Esie, Oba Yakub Ibrahim Babalola for their contributions towards the growth of culture and education at the grassroots.

 

In his statement, Engr. Adeyemi said it is always encouraging to see our Royal fathers’ efforts being recognized and commended by the concerned authority. It serves as a morale booster for more initiatives than can drive growth and development particularly in the area of culture and education.

 

That our Royal fathers in Igbomina Kingdom, the Olupo of Ajase Ipo, Ọba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu and Elesie of Esie Oba Yakub Ibrahim Babalola were both commended for their significant roles played in the success of GLOCALISE education Project, was encouraging. Again, your untiring efforts at mobilizing trainees for the 2024 UNESCO’s grassroots initiative Workshop have demonstrated your capacity as custodians and ambassadors of cultural values and lores of the people.

 

While we thank the UNESCO’S agent in the state, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his support of cultural heritage in the state, it is our prayer that God Almighty keep our Royal fathers long on the throne with sound health for our kingdoms to witness more of intercultural learning and heritage promotion.
