ENACT boss, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi received with sadness the news of the death of His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Sikiru Atanda Woleola, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo.
He described the late Olupo as an exemplary leader, reformer and fatherly figure whose passion for community development is unquantifiable.
The late Olupo was a father to me, we spoke recently where he shared insights about his developmental activities in the community and how it can be complimented. It is very shocking to comprehend that we have lost such a wonderful and generous personality. It’s a great loss.
He extended his condolences to the members of the royal family, the Ajase-Ipo community, Kwarans, and Nigerians. The late Olupo died in the early hours of Monday 22nd February, 2021.
“Oba Sikiru Atanda’s death is a huge loss to Kwara South. He has played huge roles in fostering peace in the district. Very accommodating and insightful; I can only pray that Allah grant him eternal rest and give us the fortitude to bear the loss” – He concluded.
