Following the death of the Elekan of Ekan-meje in Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Michael Ashaolu Adeyemi, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has mourned the pass away of the monarch.
The condolence statement reads;
Again we are bereaved in Kwara South. The death of Oba Michael Ashaolu Adeyemi was a big blow to our recovering emotions. We are really bereaved as a people.
Throughout his lifetime, Our Monarch was peaceful and loving. His death is a colossal loss to all and sundry in Kwara South in particular, and the state in general. His loving legacies will continue to live in our memories for life.
On behalf of the ENACT family, I commiserate with the people of Ekan Meje, Kwara South Council of Obas, the State Governor, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahaman Abdulrazaq and the friends of the State. May the soul of our king rest in peace. Sun re o, – he mourns.
