Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has commiserated with the progressive people of Offa and environs over the death of Pa James Adebayo Shogo. This was contained in a condolence message released after the breaking of the news on Friday at the age of 96 after a brief illness.
With deep touch at heart, I commiserate with the Progressive family in Offa Kingdom and environs over the loss of our respected father and leader, Baba Shogo.
Baba was intelligent, astute, and sagacious in handling leadership challenges in the politics of the environment in manners that earned him respect across all divides. Baba Shogo’s role in the map of Offa and Kwara Politics will surely be missed.
It is our prayer at ENACT that God Almighty provides the immediate and political families of Baba, the fortitude to bear the loss and repose his soul, grant him eternal rest in paradise.
