Adeyemi Balogun Counsels Youths on Leadership Skills

 

An All Progressives Party Chieftain and ENACT principal, Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has counseled youths across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara State on leadership skills and the need for community development.

While engaging the youths today in a programme tagged Countryside Emerging Leaders Fellowship (CELF), Adeyemi Balogun urged the youths to take the leadership training acquired during the event with all sense of seriousness.

He described the youths as leaders of tomorrow and advised them to start living up to the saying by engaging themselves in various activities geared towards community development.
According to him,  “as youths who are poised and positioned to become leaders of tomorrow, you must endeavour to start living up to the responsibility of developing your various communities. You must disabuse your mindset from believing in impossibilities. As leaders, learn to make the impossible possible”.
He also encouraged the youths on skill acquisition which he described as a necessary catalyst to societal development.

Earlier, the organizer of the programme, Uztas Lawal Olorungbebe described the leadership training programme as timely and necessary because of the various challenges facing the country these days. He also said the programme will be a continuous exercise which is geared towards engaging the youths meaningfully.
The youths were drawn across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara State.
