ENACT Innovation Hub Shortlists Participants for Product Development Training

ENACT Innovation Hub Ajase-Ipo has released the final list of participants for the fourth quarter of the 2023 Training Program. The renowned hub and digital skills acquisition center, a brain child of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, opened the registration portal for interested participants on the 24th of Oct., 2023, and closed registration on November 8th, 2023.

The management of the hub has decided to shortlist 70 participants for the program. ENACT Innovation Hub was launched to fill the skills gap among youths in Kwara South Senatorial District. The Hub has trained over 500 participants in different programs since it opened its doors in November 2021.

The Product Development course will last for 3 weeks. To prepare participants for the realities of the tech sector, 75 percent of the training will be done virtually with the remaining to be physical. This is to also make room for convenience as some of the applicants are coming from far locations.

However, after the registration, 70 participants were selected, including 40 males and 30 females across different local governments in Kwara South as follows:

Ekiti – 12 participants
Ifelodun – 21 participants
Irepodun – 20 participants
Isin  – 7 participants
Offa – 9 participants
Okeoro – 2 participants
Oyun  – 4 participants.

The free program will cover Product Development: (Fundamentals). Product development is one of the most important fields in technology and business in today’s world, and having deep insight into the field is quite competitive.

34.9% of the applicants indicated that they have Degrees,  with 27.2% confirming that they have HND certifications. The pie chart below is a breakdown of the educational attainment of the applicants.
