The Janaza prayer for Alh. (Chief) Shuaib Adeyemi Balogun, the late father of the ENACT Principal, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun was performed on Sunday at his residence in Esie, Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State.
The Chief Imam of Esie led scores of Islamic clerics and other sympathizers to perform the muslim funeral rite.
The Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mal. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq was represented at the event by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Mal. Abdul-Lateef Gidado Alakawa.
Also in attendance were members of the ENACT family across Kwara South led by Hon. Waheed Olanrewaju Abolaji Ale’nul’oro, the ENACT facilitator in Kwara South.
Earlier, in a condolence message, released, through his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor described the late Balogun of Esie as “a great man who invested in human capital and community development and was known for standing for what is right.”
His Excellency further prayed to Allah “to grant him Al-jannah Firdaus and preserve the family on the path of good and selfless service to humanity.”
Since the news of the unfortunate demise of the patriarch of Balogun-Esie Dynasty broke out, there have been spontaneous and massive outpourings of condolences for the family. Kwarans from all walks of lives and across various political divides had been profuse in sympathizing with the bereaved family.
Late Alh. Shuaib Adeyemi Balogun died on Sunday at the age of 93.
May Allah SWT be pleased with his soul as He grants the family uncommon faith and tranquility to accept the loss.
