The ENACT Innovation Hub sets to Hold Training on Data Science

 

 

The foremost Innovation and tech hub in Kwara South, ENACT Innovation Hub is wrapping up plans to organize training that brings opportunities in Data Science to would-be participants in the region. Data Science is about problem identification and solution generation through uncovering patterns and building predictions using data, algorithms, machine learning and AI techniques

The innovation hub has made its mark in helping people from the Kwara South Senatorial District explore the world of technology through various digital skills acquisition programs and will be training another set of people in fulfillment of the goals and objectives of the hub.

According to the founder of ENACT Innovation Hub, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, ENACT hub has contributed to the socio-economic development of Kwara South following the successful editions of various programs that have been done. Several of these participants have begun their tech journey and are exploring the numerous opportunities in the digital economy thanks to the qualitative training obtained from the hub.

ENACT innovation hub was commissioned in November, 2021 by his Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in furtherance of his Excellency vision of a new digital economy in Kwara powered by our teeming and vibrant youth. Since inception, the Innovation hub has trained almost 200 people who are mainly youths across the 7 local governments of Kwara South. The hub’s first training in the year 2022 started in January and was on Digital Skills for Businesses. The second training was themed on Entrepreneurship Development and was held in February. There was a special session for Jamb Candidates where more than 80 participants drawn from various communities in the constituency were tutored on various subjects and the use of computer-based testing software developed for the exam. In July, the hub organized a training on Creative Design: Use of Corel Draw and Canva Design.

Registration for the next training (Data Science Fundamentals) is now on. Participants can visit the website www.hub.enact.com.ng to register. Registration will end on November 16th, 2022. Training will start on November 23rd 2022.

ENACT Innovation Hub Completes 2 weeks JAMB CBT Training and Testing Program

 

 

The ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo completes the JAMB CBT training and testing organised for candidates in Kwara South Senatorial District

The program is tailored toward preparing JAMB candidates across
the 7 Local governments of Kwara South Senatorial District.

63 participants were present on the final day of the program where participants took the CBT test using the software provided by the hub.

Participants chose their subjects combination and took a test in an environment that simulates the mood of the UTME exam. Thursday 21st, April 2022, made it the final day of the program.

The students took their time to appreciate the founder, team and instructors for the gesture and also promised to make themselves proud by coming out in flying colors in the exam.

The program has been applauded by parents, education experts, and various community groups across the Senatorial. Districts.

The ENACT Innovation Hub is the brainchild of celebrated philanthropist and community development advocate, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who is the founder of the ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo.

ENACT Hub graduates 19 in Entrepreneurship development training

 

Enact Innovation Hub has again turned out another set of participants in a program tagged “Entrepreneurship development training”, which lasted for 2 weeks.

The curriculum covered Entrepreneurship development with a focus on developing business Concepts & Identifying Value chainsBusiness Plan Development, Business Incorporation, Branding, Marketing as well as Business penetrating strategies and portfolio building. 

The participants, which have been placed in different groups, took turns to give insights on how they can solve problems that were thrown to them in form of case studies in what became part of their overall rating and testing.

Thereafter, the participants took a computer-based test that covers all the topics they have been taught under Entrepreneurship Development since the commencement of the program.

The Hub is the brainchild of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun. It was unveiled last year, November, with Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.

Speaking at the graduation event, Mr Ayo, The Enact coordinator who witnessed the event, commended the initiative and thanked Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi for his vision and commitment to grassroots development through the ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase Ipo. He also went further by thanking the Entire Digprom team for their commitment and Dedication. He extolled the participants on the importance of the training they’ve got and how they can positively impact it.

The participants were then awarded their certificates.

ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo – Entrepreneurship Development Training – Day 4

 

The ongoing Entrepreneurship Development Training at ENACT Innovation Hub Ajase-Ipo enters day 4.

Participants were taught Business Incorporation. The importance and relevance of Incorporating a Business were analyzed extensively.

Business incorporation strategies were also explored. This is one of the foundations and careful planning one must execute to properly launch the business venture.

Some of the key points that were deeply explained include:

  • Which incorporation is right for your startup.
  • How to do a Name search and register a Business on the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) website.
  • Structuring your business.
  • Trademarking
  • registering with regulatory bodies.

The instructors then urged the participants to implement the knowledge that has been passed down to them in their various businesses and other enterprises.

Today ends the first week of the training. The training continues next week (Monday).

20 graduate from ENACT Innovation Hub for Digital Skills for Business

 

 

A total of 20 participants that participated in the first-ever program at ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo graduated yesterday. The training which lasted for 2 weeks was themed on Digital Skills for businesses.

The curriculum covered digital skills with a focus on Social media marketing, Content Strategy, Ecommerce, Social Commerce, Analytics, Display Advertising as well as online reputation management.

The Hub is the brainchild of Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun was unveiled last year November by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq. The first set of participants of the Hub was trained on Digital Skills for Businesses.

Speaking at the graduation event, Mr. Ibrahim Alarape, representative of Ajase Ipo Descendant Union who witnessed the event commended the initiative and thanked Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi for his vision and commitment to grassroots development through the ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase Ipo. He extolled the participants on the importance of the training they’ve got and how they can positively impact society with it.

 

The ENACT coordinator, Mr. Ayo in his address urged the participants to do beyond getting their certificate and practice what they’ve learned towards developing businesses with their skills using the digital tools.

 

The training is illuminating a revolutionary way of truly empowering our people from Kwara South. A clear departure from the usual unfocused approach met on the ground. He added

Mufutau Lawal who is a graduand commended the ENACT team for bringing such an initiative to Kwara South. He also expressed his delight in the knowledge that he has acquired in the training. The knowledge of digital skills will help me do better and project my business” – he concluded.

 

The participants were awarded certificates and a sum of N10,000 cash prize was added which was a gift from Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun. The honorarium was to cover transport allowances and others.

ENACT Innovation Hub Commences Training

 

Set to Kick off with DIGITAL SKILLS FOR BUSINESSES TRAINING

The ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase-Ipo is set to launch its first training session that will begin with Digital skills for Businesses training next week.

Session one is specifically designed to train about 36 people from across the Seven Local Governments of Kwara South Senatorial District on how to employ digital tools to create and promote their businesses for global consumers. The LGAs covered are Ifelodun, Irepodun, Oyun, Offa, Oke-Ero, Isin, and Ekiti.
